So I started studying at Makeup Forever Academy, in New York, last week. I gotta say it is THEEEE place to be. If you want to seriously be an Artist you should already have considered a number of schools and the way that we learn at MUFE is just mind blowing. Maybe you can categorize them with instagram contouring and say that face shapes are face shapes no matter who tells you about them, but the wayyy they teach is awesome. They emphasise all the things that should be emphasised.
So far, we've done basics, like hygiene etc., face shapes, contouring and colour theory. Colour theory was the most interesting, mixing up different foundation shades with the primary colours. I can match any skin tone now. YAYY.
